Here you are going find information about viola concerts around the world.
There are a good number of viola concerts, but often it's not easy to find them.
So, if you are a viola player or concert organizer or you just know about a concert, add it here and let everybody know about it. And if you are a music lover, just choose a viola concert, go and enjoy it!
A few simple rules
If you wish to list a concert here, it should be a viola concerto (or with more soloists) or recital or a chamber music concert with any combination of instruments, but the concert has to feature the viola in a solo or important role.
So, not any trio or quartet but for example, Mozart's Trio with clarinet, Paganini's quartet n.15, Smetana's "From my life" quartet, Brandenburg 3rd and 6th concertos, or sextets and similar works or even some unusual orchestral works like Brahms' 2nd Serenade where there are no violins.
Thank you for your collaboration! Enjoy the viola concerts you find here and let them know you found them on www.viola-in-music.com.
